Eddie graduated from Sunny Hills High School in and graduated from USC with a degree in Political Science and also commissioned as a 2nd Lt. As a swimmer, Eddie competed at Junior Nationals, Western Zone All Star Championships, and was an 8-time CIF Division II-Finalist and a former school record holder at Sunny Hills High School.
